Why EditPDFly exists
PDF tools often present a long directory before the underlying workflows are ready. EditPDFly starts with two implemented tools: an online PDF editor and a PDF-to-Word converter.
The homepage opens the real editor. The tools directory links only to available workflows. New tool pages will be published after the product can complete the task with real files and explain its limits.
How the tools process files
Opening, previewing, and editing a PDF in the editor happen in the browser. Export to Word uses a temporary server conversion because creating an editable DOCX requires a separate processing pipeline.
EditPDFly does not claim OCR, exact same-font editing, or perfect formatting preservation. Image-only scans need OCR, unavailable fonts may fall back, and complex layouts can change in Word.
Our quality standard
A successful request is not enough. We test exported PDF and DOCX artifacts by reopening them, checking their content, and comparing page structure against the input.
