Common questions

PDF and Word use different layout models, so a good result still deserves a quick review.

Will the Word file keep all formatting?

The converter uses best-effort preservation. Tables, fonts, spacing, and page breaks can change in complex PDFs.

Is the PDF stored permanently?

No. The route uses a temporary working directory and removes source and output files when the request finishes.

Does it convert scanned PDF text?

No OCR is included. An image-only page may appear in the DOCX, but the pixels do not become editable text.
