Why can I not edit text on a page?
The page may be an image-only scan, the letters may be vector outlines, or the text structure may not be supported. Image-only scans need OCR, which EditPDFly does not currently provide.
What is the file size limit?
Both public workflows accept one PDF up to 20 MB. A larger file is rejected before processing with a clear size error.
Why does my font look different?
A PDF may embed a font subset that is not installed on your device. The editor can fall back to another browser font. The Word converter reports detected and exported font names, but Word can still substitute a font missing from the viewing device.
Does PDF to Word support scanned text?
No OCR is included. An image-only page can retain its appearance in the DOCX, but the pixels do not become editable characters.
Why is the PDF export labelled?
The current editor produces a functional test copy with a visible label. Review the export before sharing it, and remember that existing digital signatures are not preserved.
What should I check after conversion?
Open the DOCX and compare headings, tables, images, page breaks, headers, footers, non-Latin text, and the font report against the source PDF.
